Content Creator (Part-Time)
Starting Pay: $12.50/hr
5-10 hrs per week. Possibly More hours.
This position will report directly to the Poppin' Party Co. owner. There is a 90-day trial period for all positions. Any position with Poppin' Party requires flexibility in schedule, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team.
Job Overview:
Seeking a Content Creator who will contribute to the company’s growth by expertly and efficiently creating content across all of the brand’s platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and consuming digital content and a passion for writing both long and short format content, video tutorials and short format video, crafting, and color. They will be personable, efficient and a high performer in a fast-paced, dynamic company environment and will be responsible for producing and editing content for our for marketing initiatives, contribute, create, and maintain a cohesive brand voice, and deepening engagement with our customers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and evolve Poppin Party's social media presence. Driving our content calendar, managing production, and engaging directly with people in our community
Partner with our teams to build awareness and excitement for new products, share inspiring customer and employee stories, and respond to issues as they arise
Schedule posts – and manually post if/as needed – ensuring the minimum daily posting cadence is maintained
Day-to-day management across all social channels: Facebook,Instagram, TikTok, and more.
Engage with social communities to drive favorable conversations, ensuring brand-related questions, comments, and opportunities are addressed with speed, good judgment, and in alignment with brand stakeholders and guidelines
Development and implementation of actionable plans surrounding follower growth and retention, including the analyzation and presentation of data to support plans
Work collaboratively with owner surrounding shot list creation for events
Build project timelines within workbacks and/or Asana, ensuring creative is briefed accordingly when/as needed
Screen-grabbing and organizing any success metrics related to events and/or campaigns
Gather analytics and reporting (social captures, pageviews, campaign highlights) from internal teams for wrap reports upon campaign completion
Track social live links across all campaigns ensuring they go live as scheduled + performing optimally
Develop new strategies for reporting, identifying key information, best practices, competitive activity and trends, as well as tools for efficient reporting
Share feedback and insights from our community that can inform our overall product development and curation, marketing, and customer engagement strategies
Identify opportunities to contribute to broader conversations on social, expand our audience, and introduce new people to Poppin' Party Co.
Define goals and monitor performance of Poppin' Party’s social programs, ensuring metrics map to key marketing and business objectives
Share best practices and guides across Poppin' Party’s employee base
Produce and edit playful photo, video, and written content for a variety of channels, including email, website, product descriptions, social media, mobile push, paid, in-store signage and more
Self-editing and copyediting to align with the Poppin' Party Co. brand voice
Work with the other team members to understand and contribute to the Poppin' Party Co. vision for community engagement
Partner effectively with a cross-department teams (store associates, inventory, graphic design, and ownership, etc.) to ensure campaigns and projects are cohesive, elevated, and well-executed
Bring new content ideas and formats of storytelling to Poppin' Party Co.
Plan and Execute the management of weekly/monthly editorial calendars
Partner with Operations and Creative to input into asset creation planning and plan for annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly content deliverables (and marketing shoots)
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be knowledgeable of customer service principles and practices to represent Poppin Party well
Needs to be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Mail on a Mac platform

Assistant Store Manager
Starting Pay: $16/hr+
30-45 hrs per week
Reporting directly to the Shop Owner, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for creating connections with customers and team members, implementation of retail sales strategies, in-store programming, and visual merchandising/displays. The Assistant Store Manager is equally responsible for supporting the Poppin' Party Co. storefront in Madison, AL and the e-commerce store with order fulfillment and customer service, thus ensuring brand uniformity. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset in matters of marketing, management, and customer service; experience working in a small team setting; and excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. You are someone who loves the details and believes every occasion is special and delivers exceptional customer service to ensure others feel the same way! You love getting to know people and have a keen memory for names and faces. No task is too small, and no detail is ever overlooked. You have an inherent desire to connect, to learn and to build a brand. You lead with your heart but strategize for the sale.
You are entrepreneurial and have a merchant mentality. You drive for results and develop your team to achieve sales goals. You are responsible for all aspects of store retail operations and maintain a premium guest experience. You maintain store inventory levels, smooth out processes and own the visual aesthetic of the store. You work closely with key relationships and represent Poppin' Party with excitement and warmth. Your staff loves working with you and your guests love seeing you.
As an Assistant Store Manager at Poppin' Party Co., you will be responsible for:

Filling balloons with helium + making balloon garland kits (training provided)

Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers. Including window display.

You are responsible for all areas of the guest experience.

You are on the floor five to six days a week working with guests and coaching your staff.

Through excellent time management, you create a schedule allowing for dedicated time for weekly scheduling, inventory, customization, sewing, and events . Planning and executing events.

You ensure your team utilizes sales techniques and demonstrates them by actively selling on the floor. You lead by example.

You perform daily store walkthroughs, visual merchandising and sell-through assessment.
